Prior to Legalex Mitchell worked at a large nationwide Mass Torts and Personal Injury law firm transforming the enterprise into a technological leader by implementing state-of-the-art applications focused on automation and business intelligence.
Preceding the legal industry he co-founded a successful low latency systematic machine learning algorithmic hedge fund. Before launching his hedge fund Mitchell was Head of Portfolio Management at Man Investment Management (EMG. L), a subsidiary of the largest listed hedge fund globally.
Mitchell earned his MBA from Columbia Business School and undergraduate degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business in Washington, D.C.
